YOUR MISSION

  • Identify and engage with carbon project developers worldwide, supporting targeted outreach campaigns aligned with CEEZER’s strategic sourcing priorities.
  • Assist CEEZER’s supply team in managing partnerships with diverse carbon credit projects across a wide array of project types, including direct air capture, biochar, regenerative agriculture, and blue carbon.
  • Analyze emerging trends in the voluntary carbon market and translate insights from academic discussions into actionable strategies.
  • Dive deep into project impact analyses, project materials, and data.
  • Evaluate and enhance internal processes through critical analysis and innovation.
  • Conduct in-depth assessments of carbon credit projects, evaluating key risk factors such as additionality, over-crediting, delivery reliability, and social and environmental safeguards.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

  • Nearing the final stages or successful completion of your academic (bachelor’s/master’s) journey in sustainability or related field with outstanding achievements.
  • Previous experience in the sustainability/climate space, ideally with exposure to the voluntary carbon market.
  • Strong solution-finding abilities with new, creative approaches on how to overcome challenges.
  • Ability to respond to changing priorities in an evolving business environment and to coordinate multiple projects.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
  • Residing in Berlin or demonstrating a willingness to relocate to Berlin for the duration of the internship (6 months).
  • A valid working permit in Germany.
