Commodity dealer Noble Group has hired a new head of European gas, power and carbon.
Kevin Watler joins the firm’s London office after leaving German utility E.ON, where he held a similar role since Jan. 2013.
He will report to Gareth Griffiths, Noble’s global head of power and gas.
Singapore-headquartered Noble this summer parted ways with Dougal Corden, who had headed the firm’s emissions and cross-commodity options out of London since early 2014.
Noble is one of Asia’s largest commodity traders.
