Here is a summary of all the carbon pricing actions implemented or set forth by Canadian provinces and territories, and a list of the jurisdictions that have declined to develop their own proposals.

With Ottawa’s Sep. 1, 2018 deadline for Canada’s provinces and territories to submit their carbon pricing plans now passed, the federal government has a tough task ahead in coordinating and addressing the obstinate gaps in what has emerged as a national patchwork of schemes.  Here is a summary of all the carbon pricing actions implemented or set forth by Canadian provinces and territories, and a list of the jurisdictions that have declined to develop their own proposals.
