Saudi Arabia on Friday announced it will launch a domestic carbon credit scheme at the start of 2023 that plans to issue Paris-compliant credits under Article 6 for voluntary participants, both for domestic use as well as international transfer and with baseline and MRV methodologies designed specifically according to the country's circumstances.
