Former Deutsche Bank energy and carbon analyst joins Barclays

A veteran EU carbon and energy analyst has joined UK-based bank Barclays to cover European utilities.

A veteran EU carbon and energy analyst has joined UK-based bank Barclays to cover European utilities.

Mark C. Lewis had been a Paris-based managing director at Deutsche Bank, covering European power, gas and carbon before he left the firm in 2013.

He then did a brief stint at financial services and advisory firm Kepler Cheuvreux before joining Barclays three weeks ago as an MD in its research team.

He will continue to be based in Paris, he told Carbon Pulse on the sidelines of a Europeans for Divest Invest climate and investment in London on Tuesday.
