Western Australia EPA backs mandatory carbon offsetting for new big-emitting projects

Western Australia’s Environmental Protection Authority (EA) on Thursday recommended that new projects emitting more than 100,000 tonnes of CO2e a year be required to offset their emissions using high-quality carbon credits.
