California’s Air Resources Board issued around 105,000 offsets in the last fortnight, the fewest since early December.
The regulator of California’s carbon market handed a total 75,000 offsets to two new forest projects backed by developer Finite Carbon, and a further 30,461 to a livestock project operated by Dairy Dreams LLC.
ARB also shortened the invalidation period on a total 686,000 credits to three years.
Wednesday’s issuances bring the total number of offsets handed out by California to nearly 38.5 million.
