The Asia-Pacific Project and Business Development Analyst will support the development and growth of ecosecurities across the Asia-Pacific through research, analysis, structuring of new projects and supporting the origination of new projects across the Asia-Pacific region.

Job Summary

This is a unique opportunity to join one of the most established and high growth companies in the voluntary carbon market. The Asia-Pacific Project and Business Development Analyst will support the development and growth of ecosecurities across the Asia-Pacific through research, analysis, structuring of new projects and supporting the origination of new projects across the Asia-Pacific region. This is a junior to mid-level role, reporting to the Asia-Pacific Commercial Manager.

Main Responsibilities

• Experienced in supporting project administration tasks, including but not limited to the coordination of team travel arrangements, such as booking tickets, securing hotel accommodations, and managing receipts;
• Skilled in assisting with early-stage business development activities, including the management of NDAs, KYC procedures, and the entry of client information into corporate systems;
• Proficient in maintaining comprehensive records of business development activities within corporate systems;
• Capable of handling internal corporate inquiries, including but not limited to the management of time allocation for team members across multiple projects;
• Adept at monitoring and tracking the invoicing process, ensuring accurate and timely communication with clients and subcontractors on payments;
• Competent in supporting business development initiatives and origination strategy, including but not limited to participating in bid preparation, client communication, and the identification of potential projects;
• Skilled in identifying and evaluating new business opportunities for the company;
• Able to conduct targeted research and analyze the results to meet specific company needs.

Candidate Profile

• Highly collaborative approach to working across teams (located across geographies) to achieve the best results;
• Self-starter, able to work independently;
• Interest, initiative-driven, enthusiasm and willingness to work and grow in an entrepreneurial environment with a reputable brand within the global carbon markets:
• Carbon market, environmental finance and / or commodity market experience will be advantageous;
• Fluency in one or more Southeast Asian Languages.

Qualifications

Essential
• Degree in business administration, economics, law, engineering or science;
• Proficient in Excel and Power Point.

Desirable
• Commercial experience;
• Administration and project support experience;
• Carbon markets and environmental project.

Experience

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in business development, administration, finance and/or consulting.

Skills and Knowledge

• Good English language skills with excellent written and verbal communications;
• Administration, project and business acumen;
• Effective business communication (written and verbal).
