Final list of EU CBAM benchmarks expected “early 2026”, Commission says
The European Commission is preparing key implementing rules for the EU’s Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) by the end of this year, but the benchmarks used to deduct free allowances from imported products will not be available until “early 2026”, the body said.
