Agri-food corporates behind huge annual CO2 emissions impact, climate progress too slow -report
Five of the world’s largest food and agriculture corporations alone accounted for some 352 million tonnes of CO2e in 2023, while the entire sector still emits about one-third of global GHGs and is not decarbonising fast enough, according to a report published Tuesday.
