The spreadsheet outlines the key elements Verra typically reviews when assessing applications for project registration, verification, or combined registration and verification, with the aim of improving the quality and completeness of submissions. The organisation stressed that the checklist is intended as guidance rather than a comprehensive review framework, with additional project-specific issues still considered during assessments. It also noted that the methodology itself takes precedence in the event of any discrepancies, and said it plans to publish similar checklists for other methodologies in the coming months.
