EU carbon allowances ended a five-day run of daily declines on Wednesday as sellers appeared to go quiet after recent aggressive offering, while the daily auction cleared above the market and weekly position data showed investment funds making only a small adjustment to their holdings last week, before markets were jolted higher at the very end of the day by bullish news on tariffs.
