The two largest voluntary carbon credit issuing standards, Verra and Gold Standard, have welcomed the publication of the core carbon principles (CCPs) by the Integrity Council for the Voluntary Carbon Market (ICVCM) released Thursday, as providing a crucial "floor of competence" for climate projects.
