Oil major BP has hired an emissions analyst formerly with Bloomberg New Energy Finance (BNEF) in London.
James Cooper, previously lead EU ETS analyst for carbon & power at BNEF, joined BP this week as an emissions analyst at the firm’s London office.
Cooper is one of two carbon analysts to leave BNEF in September.
Andrea Du Rietz left to join toymaker Lego as environmental governance manager in its environmental sustainability division.
