EU carbon allowances gave up the little ground gained on Monday afternoon to fall back towards €76.00 in a muted day that saw thin trade overall, as EU carbon prices followed gas and power down, while UK prices regained a little ground in the afternoon to end the day where they begun, as participants pointed towards a broadly neutral configuration across the continent's energy markets.
