US biofuel credit (RIN) prices nearly halved on Friday afternoon ahead of the EPA granting 31 of the 38 outstanding compliance waivers for the Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS), ending months of speculation about whether the Trump administration would change course on the controversial policy.
