Members of the European Parliament on Tuesday urged the UK and EU to link their emissions trading systems (ETSs) in order to avoid having two separate carbon border adjustment mechanisms (CBAMs) applying in parallel, as leaders on both sides of the Channel prepare for a crunch EU-UK summit next week.
