A senior emissions trader has parted ways with Eni Trading & Shipping, departing the Italian firm’s London office in late February, sources told Carbon Pulse.

Anne Radermecker had been with Eni since early 2012, and one source said that the company was currently seeking to fill the emissions trading role that she left vacant, likely with an internal appointment.

The sources were unable to say if Radermecker had secured a new role in the emissions market, and efforts to contact her were not immediately successful.

According to her LinkedIn profile, Radermecker joined Eni from GDF Suez Trading, where she traded emissions and energy options for almost three years.

Eni Trading & Shipping is the commodity trading arm of oil and gas producer Eni.  It handles the emissions trading requirements for its parent company’s operations, as well as engaging in some proprietary trading.
